How to change a firm user permissions
This article will guide you through changing a firm user's permissions in our DecisionVault. Currently, we have two user roles: Firm Admin users and Regular Firm users.
- Regular User - The user will have permission to view questionnaire responses and clients' documents.
Firm Admin - The user will have permission to adjust firm settings, change questionnaire questions and administer users.
Follow these steps to change their permissions:
Go to Settings > Firm > Users then click on Manage.
- From the Firm Users screen, go the and click on the "Edit" option associated with the user.
- Select the role from the Change Permissions section and then click Save Permissions.
- After updating permissions, make sure to communicate the permission changes with the firm user clearly and inform them about the access they have been granted or removed.
Note: Granting more access requires careful consideration. Ensure the user firm needs the specific permissions you grant to avoid unauthorized changes to your workspace.
