Matter Progress (Beta)

Matter Progress is a new beta feature designed to help firms better track and manage where matters currently stand throughout their workflow. This feature adds a centralized Matter Progress section, allowing your team to organize matters by stage and improve visibility across active work.

With Matter Progress, your team can:

• View matters organized by stage
• Track workflow progress across active matters
• Filter matters assigned to:
  • Any firm user
  • Yourself (“Me” filter)

Current Default Stages

These stages are intended to provide a simple starting framework for tracking matter progress. This beta version currently includes the following default stages:

• Invite
• Data Gathering
• Meeting
• Homework
• Drafting
• Signing

How to Update a Matter Stage

To move a matter to a different stage:

1. Open the Matter Details screen
2. Select the edit option next to the stage
3. Choose the new stage and save your changes

Feedback and Suggestions

Matter Progress is currently in beta, and we are actively gathering feedback to help shape future improvements. As you use the feature, we’d love to hear:

• What parts of the workflow are most helpful
• What could make managing stages more efficient
• Any additional views, filters, or automations you would expect from a feature like this
