How to view matter reports

The Reporting section gives firms an overview of their activity and client trends over time. You can generate Matter Statistics Reports by year to see how your firm’s intake and matter types have evolved to identify growth patterns and client demographics.

Go to Reports in the left-hand menu and click Generate next to the year you want to review.

Each report shows visual summaries of your firm’s data for that year, including:

• New matters per month: See how many new matters were opened each month, helping you track busy periods and growth trends.

• Matters per questionnaire: Understand which questionnaire types are being used most often.

• Marital status: Get a breakdown of the marital statuses of clients represented in your matters — such as Married, Single, Divorced, or Widowed. This helps identify trends across client demographics.

• Client age and children (on planning type questionnaires) : View the distribution of client ages and whether they have children (adult, minor, or none).
